Steak restaurant “VOLKS” in kawaguchi
2018.10.23

I went to VOLKS in Kawaguchi for lunch on Saturday. VOLKS is a chain restaurant, but since there is no VOLKS in my hometown, I had never been there before.

As the restaurant is pretty far from the closest station, we decided to go there from our house by bicycle. It took 25 minutes, which was shorter than I expected.
These days I often ride a bicycle. It's very convenient for shopping nearby the house.

▼The information about the restaurant

I ordered the daily lunch special. It was a hamburger with no bread and it's called ハンバーグ in Japanese.
It costs 1,058 yen including tax. My friend gave me a 5% discount coupon, so it only cost 1,005 yen.

The hamburger was good. Plus, I love salad and bread! I couldn't stop eating, especially bread. I think we ate more than 10 pieces of bread each haha.

I really enjoyed the lunch!

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm currently living in Urawa, Saitama. I was born in Saitama, but I lived in Tokyo previously. This year, I started my new life at a share house, which is my first time living in a house like this. I'm enjoying myself with my housemates now. They are nice, and kind enough to help me whenever I have questions.
Though I don't use English for my job, I'm learning English at my own pace because I like traveling abroad. Additionally, I usually spend my spare time watching foreign films and listening to foreign music. It's my favourite pastime. I hope it won't be long before I can enjoy watching foreign films only in English!

Favourite:
chocolate, cake, coke and latte,

Thanks!
